PcNvMod
PcNvMod provides the spectrally averaged atmospheric transmission required for NVThermIP. NVThermIP is available from Sensiac/Products/Models and Simulations at SENSIAC website. PcNvMod allows the user to specify the atmosphere and the aerosol models. The sensor altitude, range, target altitude, and spectral bandpass are determined by NVThermIP. NVThermIP automatically runs PcNvMod to calculate the spectrally weighted atmospheric transmission for the sensor to target path. The transmission values are returned to NVThermIP where they are used to calculate target acquisition range. No user interaction is required. PcNvMod is the complete MODTRAN program (PcModWin). It can be used with NVThermIP or run independently.
