PcNvMod 2.0 - MODTRAN for NVThermIP

NVThermIP and is available from Sensiac/Products/Models and Simulations at SENSIAC website. NVThermIP does NOT include MODTRAN. PcNvMod 2.0 allows the user to specify the atmosphere and the aerosol models. The sensor altitude, range, target altitude, and spectral bandpass are determined by NVThermIP. NVThermIP automatically runs PcNvMod 2.0 to calculate the spectrally weighted atmospheric transmission for the sensor to target path. The transmission values are returned to NVThermIP where they are used to calculate the sensor performance. No user interaction is required.

Product M12 has limited environmental models (tropical, mid-latitude summer, mid-latitude winter, sub-arctic summer, sub-arctic winter, and 1962 Standard) and limited aerosol models (rural, maritime, urban, desert, troposphere, navy, radiative fog, and advection fog). Product M12 only works with NVThermIP

Product M11 is the complete MODTRAN program. It can be used with NVThermIP or run independently. It is PcModWin. While M12 has limited models, M11 predicts the atmospheric transmission for any atmospheric condition. For target acquisition, it predicts transmission over the full operational scenario of -40 to +50C.
